IOCWe are delighted to announce that we have achieved Recognised Practice accreditation from the Institute of Consulting, one of only 5 consultancy practices in the North of England to achieve this prestigious status.

fred_ayres_directorAL Consulting’s director Dr Fred Ayres has achieved a fellowship of the IC and been appointed to its Advisory Council. The Committee’s purpose is to provide the Institute’s governing body with advice and guidance on the future development of the Institute.

A spokesperson for the Institute of Consulting said:

“To become a fellow an applicant must hold a first degree in management consulting, or equivalent, be a Certified Management Consultant, be a practising management consultant at strategic level with at least 10 years consulting experience and can demonstrate a significant contribution to the profession. There are currently less than 500 consultants in the UK who meet this stringent criterion.”

Earlier this year Fred, our Director, was elected a member of the North West Regional Board of the Chartered Management Institute. This is a new board, set up as part of CMI’s recent restructuring, responsible for the on-going development of the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute of Consulting and Women in Management in the region.
